At Revamp, we believe in complete data transparency and privacy by design. We never sell or license your personal information to third parties, and all foreground application usage detection is evaluated locally on your device.
Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Revamp requires Usage Access to detect when monitored applications open in the foreground. This evaluation occurs completely offline within our local Focus Engine to enforce your time limits and focus rules. We never harvest, broadcast, or sell your application usage history to remote third-party servers or advertisers.
Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): This permission allows Revamp to project Nudge overlays, mindful breathing reminders, Friction lock screens, and Strict Mode shields over distracting applications whenever your time allowances expire.
Foreground Service (specialUse): To guarantee continuous focus enforcement even when Revamp is swiped away or minimized in your task manager, an Android Foreground Service operates alongside a persistent system status notification.
Persistent Engine State: By default, once activated, the Nudge Engine maintains its monitoring status across application reboots and background terminations to prevent focus loopholes. You maintain full control and can manually toggle monitoring OFF at any time via your main Dashboard.
Promotional Trial Credits: New accounts receive a complimentary allocation of 300 Nudge Credits upon registration. These credits enable you to test premium capabilities—including temporary 7-day passes for Themes, Advanced Analytics, Brain Gym games, and custom interventions—before subscribing.
Email Verification & Credit Restoration: To maintain fair trial usage and prevent credit fraud via repeated re-registering, Revamp retains a secure historical record (`used_emails`) linking registered email addresses to their last known credit balance in Google Cloud Firestore. If an account is deleted and re-created using the same email address, your previous remaining credit balance is automatically restored rather than resetting to 300.
Google Cloud Firestore: When signed in, Revamp synchronizes your profile settings, daily target hours, accumulated Deep Focus Time, and active subscription status to Google Cloud Firestore so your focus journey remains securely backed up across devices.
Pause Analytics Logging: You can enable "Pause Analytics" at any time if someone else (such as a child or family member) uses your phone, ensuring temporary leisure usage does not distort your long-term productivity reports.
Revamp Pro & RevenueCat: We utilize Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to process Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly subscriptions. Pro subscribers receive unlimited access to all features, custom themes, analytics, and cognitive games without consuming Nudge Credits. Payment transactions are processed directly and securely by Google Play; Revamp never accesses, stores, or receives your financial billing data.
Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): You retain full sovereignty over your account. You can permanently delete your Revamp account and erase all associated focus logs at any time via the "Delete Account" option located in the navigation slide menu. Deleting an account removes your user credentials and focus history from our active cloud databases.
